A 28-year-old news producer of a private TV channel was found dead near Police Plaza in the Hatirjheel area of the capital on Wednesday.



A 28-year-old news producer of a private TV channel was found dead near Police Plaza in the Hatirjheel area of the capital on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Bari, senior executive news producer of DBC.
Abul Hasan, officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station, said local people spotted the body of Bari lying in a pool of blood on the road in the morning and informed police.
Cops recovered the body and sent it to Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
“Bari was brutally murdered. Efforts are on to identify and nab the killers,” said the OC.
