Director General (DG) of Fire Service Brigadier General Md Main Uddin has said the explosion in the Science Laboratory area of the capital was a massive accident. It is being suspected gas accumulated there caused the explosion.
He said while talking to reporters after the inauguration of Pallabi Fire Station in Mirpur DOHS on Monday.
“So far, there has been no evidence of sabotage. However, the incident is still under investigation. It is being suspected that the blast was caused by accumulated gas”, he said.
