Trader crushed under truck in capital’s Kakrail

A trader was killed as a speedy truck hit his motorbike in the capital’s Kakrail area on Thursday midnight.



A trader was killed as a speedy truck hit his motorbike in the capital’s Kakrail area on Thursday midnight.

The deceased was Abdullah Limon, 28.

Sub-inspector of Ramna Thana Mujahidul Islam said a speedy truck hit the motorcycle of Limon, leaving him critically injured. He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police seized the truck and detained the driver of the vehicle.

He was returning to his Narayanganj home after attending a wedding program in Dhaka, said brother of the victim Md Kazol.
