Khaleda Zia taken to OT for surgery

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been taken to the operation theater (OT) of Evercare Hospital in the city for a surgery.

Khaleda Zia’s private physician Prof. AZM Zahid Hossain said this to journalists on Thursday evening.

According to BNP sources, the surgery will be conducted tonight.

Three physicians from the United States will help to conduct the surgery.

Dr. FM Siddiqui, Prof. AZM Zahid Hossain, Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun and Dr. Nuruddin Ahmed are with the team. 

The three US physicians are -Christos Georgiades, James Peter Adam Hamilton and Hamid Ahmed Abdur Rabb.
