Masud Iqbal takes charge as the Chairman of Payra Port Authority

Patuakhali: The newly appointed Chairman of Payra Port Authority, Rear Admiral Masud Iqbal NPP, NDC, PSC, has taken charge. On Sunday morning, January 5, he replaced Rear Admiral Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury.
Earlier, on December 17, through a notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Mohammad Mamun Shibli, the Chairman of Payra Port Authority, Rear Admiral Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury, was returned to the Bangladesh Navy and Rear Admiral Masud Iqbal was transferred as the Chairman of Payra Port Authority.
It is to be noted that on January 1, 2025, the newly appointed Chairman of Payra Port Authority, Rear Admiral Masud Iqbal, joined the Ministry of Shipping. - Gofran Palash
