Bangladesh has selected Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s film “Hawa” for the upcoming Oscars.



Bangladesh has selected Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s film “Hawa” for the upcoming Oscars.
The movie was sent under the "Best International Feature Film" category in the 95th Academy Awards by the Oscar Committee Bangladesh.
Confirming the matter, Oscar Bangladesh Committee Coordinator Abdullah Al Maruf said, two movies were submitted this year. From them, ‘Hawa’ was selected.
"Hawa" stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, Sumon Anowar, Nasir Uddin Khan, Sariful Razz, Shohel Mondol and Rizvi Rizu, among others. The story of the movie went forward centering a fishing trawler.
