
Military Institute of Science and Technology on Tuesday hosted a special screening of the RT documentary “NICA. Made in Russia”, drawing students, faculty members and invited guests interested in science and international research collaboration.
The documentary, produced by RT, highlights the NICA project at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna. It showcases Russia’s progress in high-energy physics and the collaborative work of international scientists involved in one of the most ambitious particle physics research facilities.
According to organisers, the screening aimed to familiarise Bangladeshi students with modern scientific infrastructure and the role of fundamental research in driving technological advancement. Participants showed keen interest in the global scope of the NICA project and the research opportunities it offers to young scientists.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion session, where attendees exchanged views on scientific innovation, higher education prospects in Russia and the importance of strengthening academic cooperation between Bangladesh and the Russian Federation.
Organisers said the programme served as a platform to promote scientific dialogue and inspire students to explore advanced research in science and technology.
