PM congratulates Tigers for Test win against Pakistan

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has congratulated the Bangladesh national cricket team for winning a Test match against Pakistan on home soil for the first time.


The premier’s Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony shared the information to BSS.

Bangladesh secured a 104-run victory in the first Test of the two-match series against Pakistan at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital today.

Earlier, Bangladesh had won their last two Test matches against Pakistan in Pakistan; this time, they achieved victory on home soil. This marks the Tigers’ third consecutive Test win against the team.

In the Mirpur Test, Bangladesh set a target of 268 runs. However, Pakistan were all out for 163 runs, reports BSS.
