The government has reinstated the operating licence of Ad-Din Hospital in Dhaka's Moghbazar, allowing the healthcare facility to resume services subject to three conditions.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a statement on Monday withdrawing its earlier order that had cancelled the hospital's licence.

Under the revised decision, the hospital must comply with the following conditions:

It must strictly follow the provisions of the Medical Practice and Private Clinics and Laboratories (Regulation) Ordinance, 1982.
The hospital must promptly appoint the required number of duty doctors and nurses.
Government-authorised authorities will be empowered to take legal action if the hospital fails to comply with the licence conditions.

The ministry said the licence has been restored on the condition that the hospital fully adheres to the applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
