Bangabandhu CAVA Beach Volleyball begins in Cox’s Bazar
Dhaka, 13 Sept -Bangabandhu CAVA Beach Volleyball (Men’s and Women’s) has begun from Wednesday in Cox’s Bazar.
Muhammad Shaheen Imran, deputy commissioner and district magistrate of Cox’s Bazar, formally inaugurated the three-day meet as the chief guest, organized by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation.
Cox’s Bazar police super Md Mahfuzul Islam was present as the special guest in the opening ceremony.
In the day’s women’s section matches, Kazakhstan beat Bangladesh by 2-0 set, Pakistan defeated Kazakhstan by 2-1 set, Kazakhstan outplayed India by 2-1 set, Uzbekistan overpowered Pakistan by 2-0 set, Kazakhstan beat Bangladesh by 2-0 set and India defeated Uzbekistan by 2-1 set.
While in the men’s section matches, Maldives beat Bhutan by 2-0 set, Bangladesh beat Bangladesh team-2 by 2-0 set, Bangladesh team -1 defeated Bangladesh team-3 by 2-0 set, India outplayed Bhutan by 2-0 set, Maldives outclassed Bangladesh by 2-0 set, India beat Bhutan by 2-0 set, India defeated Bangladesh by 2-0 set and Bangladesh overpowered Bhutan by 2-0 set.
