V-Day Handball begins tomorrow

 DHAKA - Victory Day Handball competition (men's and

women's) begins from tomorrow (Monday) at Shaheed Captain Mansur Ali Handball
Stadium in the city.

   State Minister for Youth and Sports Mohammad Zahid Ahsan Russel is
expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.

   A total of 12 teams-- six of men's and equal number of women's-- will
compete in the meet, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF), on
the occasion of 50 years of victory day celebration.

   Participating teams:

   Men's teams: Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police Handball Club,
Bangladesh Ansar and Village defense Party, Dhaka Divisional Sports
Association, Jamalpur Sports Academy and Anwar Sarkar Sports Academy

   Women's teams: Bangladesh Ansar and Village defense Party, Bangladesh
Police Handball Club, Dhaka Divisional Sports Association Tatelia Sub-
District Sports Association, Panchagarh and Bodolgashi Labonno Prova Pilot and Community Girls' High School, Naogaon.BSS
