Fire at Natore Awami League office.

Natore, Dec 03 - Fire broke out at an Awami League office under ward 2 in Bhabaniganj area of Natore district town early this morning, hours before the latest blockade called by the BNP and like-minded opposition parties started.

The fire damaged some valuables of the office.

Though local Awami League suspect an act of sabotage, Fire Service and Civil Defence found an electric short-circuit to be the reason behind the fire, said Natore Fire Station Officer Firoz Kutubi.

As blockade is underway, law enforcers are patrolling the area, and no long-route buses were seen plying in Natore.-UNB
