A case has been filed at Shahbagh Police Station against quota protesters over “obstructing police work“ and “vandalism” in Dhaka’s Shahbagh.

Transport supervisor Khalilur Rahman of Rajarbagh Police Lines filed the case at Shahbagh Police Station on Friday night.
The quota protesters were accused of attacking police vehicles and assaulting police personnel, according to the case details, reports UNB.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraful of Ramna Police Station, said police had deployed barricades in Shahbagh during student protests, which were subsequently breached, leading to car vandalism.
