Thousands of people took to the streets on Monday afternoon defying the curfew and marching towards Shahbagh from different parts of the capital.

Many of them entered Dhaka from different adjoining districts and now crossing Banani around 2:15 pm with placards as part of Anti-Discrimination Students Movement’s Dhaka March programme.
Protesters from different areas including Mirpur, Mohammadpur, Firmgate, Uttara, Dhanmondi, Rampura brought out processions and marching towards Shahbagh, reports our correspondent from different spots, reports UNB.
Slogans of students and general people rocked the Dhaka streets.
Police were seen standing silently on many roads.
