New Chief Justice pays homage to Liberation War martyrs

On Monday, newly appointed Chief Justice Sayed Refaat Ahmed honored the martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War by laying a floral wreath at the National Memorial in Savar.

He arrived at the memorial at 7 a.m., placed the wreath, and signed the visitor's book.
The Chief Justice departed the site around 7:30 a.m.
