Attack during student movement: RAB arrests Rubel from Gazipur

Dhaka, Sept 17 - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested Delwar Hossain Rubel, an accused in the recent attack on student protesters, from Tongi in Gazipur.

Rubel, identified as the 45th accused in the filed case, is alleged to have opened fire with a pistol during the anti-discrimination student movement at Sector 11 in Dhaka’s Uttara on August 3.

ASP Imran Khan of the RAB Headquarters (media wing), confirmed the incident on Tuesday.-UNB
