On Monday, two police officers were arrested under the Cyber Security Act for allegedly damaging the reputation of the police force and disrupting communal harmony through social media posts.

Nayek Sajib Sarkar was detained at 1:30 p.m. from Rajarbagh Police Line in Dhaka, while constable Showaibur Rahman was apprehended at 6:30 a.m. from Jashore Police Line. Both are implicated in a case filed at Shahjahanpur Police Station.
