‘Joy Bangla’ declared as country’s national slogan

'Joy Bangla’ has been declared as the national slogan of the country.

The directive was issued in a notification of the cabinet division today, according to an official release of the Press Information Department (PID).

As per the decision of the cabinet meeting, the government has issued a notification to make 'Joy Bangla' the national slogan of Bangladesh, the release added.

Constitutional office bearers and officials and employees of government, autonomous and statutory bodies working in the country and abroad will chant the slogan 'Joy Bangla' at the end of all national day celebrations and other state and government functions.

Besides, teachers and students will chant the slogan 'Joy Bangla' at the end of daily assemblies and speeches of the meetings and seminars in all educational institutions.
