Prof Yunus Congratulates Trump on Historic Win

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has extended his congratulations to Donald Trump on his historic victory in the 2024 US Presidential Election.

In a congratulatory message, Prof Yunus said, "I am delighted to convey, on behalf of the government and the people of Bangladesh, my heartfelt felicitations on your victory in the US Presidential Election."

He added, "Your election for a second term is a testament to your leadership and vision, which have resonated deeply with the people of the United States. I am confident that under your leadership, the United States will continue to thrive and inspire others around the world."

Reflecting on the strong ties between Bangladesh and the US, Prof Yunus highlighted the long-standing friendship and collaboration between the two nations in various areas of mutual interest. He noted that this relationship had deepened during Trump's first term in office.

Looking ahead, Prof Yunus expressed his eagerness to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries, emphasizing the potential for exploring new avenues of cooperation for sustainable development.

"Excellency, in alignment with our shared commitment to a peaceful and inclusive society, the government and the peace-loving people of Bangladesh are eager to collaborate with you in addressing global challenges and pursuing peace, harmony, stability, and prosperity for all," Prof Yunus concluded.
