Sports competition for children with special needs held in Mymensingh

Dhaka, 27 Nov - A sports competition for children with special needs was held at Mymensingh Welfare School on Wednesday.

After the event, Mymensingh District Additional Deputy Commissioner (revenue) Shihab Uddin Ahmed distributed prizes among the participating players,

Mansoor Alam Chandan, managing director of Margin Diagnostic Center, Md. Safiq Ullah, president of Mymensingh Welfare School were also present in the ceremony, presided over by Mymensingh District Sports Officer Al-Amin.
 
A total of fifty children with special needs from Mymensingh Welfare School, Muk-bodhir School and Intellectual disability and Autistic School participated in this competition, organized by Mymensingh District Sports Office under the annual sports program of Sports Department.

Races, throwing balls, treasure hunts, dress as you like, singing and dancing were organized in the competition. Medals and certificates were awarded to first, second and third place holders in the meet.

Apart from medal, every participating special need children were given a memento.
