The investigation committee formed to look into the fire incident at the Bangladesh Secretariat has revised its timeline for submitting the report. The committee will now present its preliminary findings to Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus at 5 PM on Tuesday, according to the Deputy Press Secretary of the Chief Adviser’s Office, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.

Previously, Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan had stated on Thursday that the high-level committee would submit its primary report within three days. "We are committed to a thorough and comprehensive investigation. The government is prioritizing this matter," she told reporters at the Foreign Service Academy.

Rizwana added that the committee’s full report would be shared with the media once the investigation is complete. The senior secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs is leading the high-powered committee tasked with the inquiry.
