When asked about potential threats, Jahangir emphasized that there are no indications of sabotage or attacks. "Any attempt at sabotage or conspiracy will be dealt with firmly, with the support of the people," he assured.
Around 3,500 devotees, including dignitaries, are expected to offer prayers at the National Eidgah on Eid Day, with law enforcement on high alert to ensure security.
In response to a question, Jahangir clarified that criminals who fled the country and took refuge in Kolkata would face legal action if involved in any sabotage attempts. "Action will be taken against those trying to create unrest from Kolkata," he said.
The Home Adviser confirmed that comprehensive measures have been put in place to safeguard the lives and property of the public.
Earlier today, Jahangir visited key locations including Sadarghat Launch Terminal and Kamlapur Railway Station to assess the overall security situation ahead of the holiday.
