The government has declared a one-day state mourning tomorrow following the deadly crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft in Uttara's Diabari area, which left at least 19 people dead and over 50 injured.

According to the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, the national flag will be flown at half-mast at all government, semi-government, autonomous, and private institutions, including educational establishments, as well as Bangladesh missions abroad, to observe the mourning.

Special prayers will be held at mosques and other places of worship across the country, seeking the recovery of the injured and eternal peace for those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.

Fire Service and Civil Defence sources confirmed that the aircraft crashed into a building of Milestone School and College, causing significant casualties and damage.
