BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has wished peace and well-being to the countrymen and the Muslim Ummah and extended his sincere greetings and congratulations to them on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi to be observed tomorrow.

In a message issued here on Thursday night, he said the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi is the day of the advent of the greatest human being in the world.

This day is a glorious moment to pay tribute to the values in the life of the Prophet, such as honesty, humility, generosity and justice, and to get inspiration to follow the path shown by him, he said.

He said Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is a remarkable beacon of light to the world, the source of peace and struggle.

Mirza Fakhrul said his timeless values, humanity, compassion, generosity, and sympathy for people will remain as supreme lesson for the mankind.

Since his youth, he was a fearless fighter against lies, who never betrayed the trust, who considered it his supreme duty to benefit others, he said, adding, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) has left a shining example of respecting the elders and loving the younger ones.

He attained Prophet hood at the age of 40 by devoting himself to the search for the ultimate truth, said Mirza Fakhrul.

The BNP secretary general said through hard work and efforts, he spread the message of Tawheed throughout the world despite enduring endless persecution, reports BSS.

By following his life and work, Muslims get inspiration to lead their lives on the path of beauty and goodness, including the liberation of chained people and the establishment of humanity, he said.
