A high-level cabinet meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office on Saturday to discuss reforms aimed at making the education system more engaging and career-focused, expanding employment opportunities and improving sports infrastructure and training facilities.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman chaired the meeting, according to his Press Secretary Abu Abdullah M Saleh.

Ministers, state ministers and senior government officials from the relevant sectors attended the meeting, where participants reviewed proposals to align education with labour market demands and strengthen youth development through sports.

The discussions also emphasised creating sustainable job opportunities and modernising training systems to better prepare young people for future challenges.
