Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday said like many others he is also a person against any war in the world but they live in a world where war threat surrounds them always.

Apparently highlighting the global context, Prof Yunus said it becomes difficult to remain unprepared and it is a suicidal approach to stay without preparation in such a situation.

While addressing the members of the Bangladesh Air Force, the Chief Adviser also referred to the situation between India and Pakistan and the media reports suggesting a war-like situation.

He observed the Bangladesh Air Force exercise at the Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Uttam AK Khandaker.

The Chief Adviser mentioned that the war is always very expensive but there must be efforts to take the preparation to a higher level, reports UNB.
