In a democratic country, criticism is cordially welcome being it is a natural component of democracy and is considered the right of the country‘s citizens.

Anyone can voice their opinions on any topic but the individuals always prefer

constructive criticism over the arbitrary criticism. The goal of criticism should not be to cause the readers of the news that's aired on different news channels to become confused or divided. One should not discourage the persons in their honest, sincere and dedicated services to the nation by bringing certain ill narratives that could be easily avoided.

Recently, a few renowned and dedicated journalists are seen inclined to criticise the nation ‘s devoted and democratic leaders, students and some illustrious personalities although they are sincere fighters or some have changed their previous attitude to the country. In addition ,a few newspapers have been providing the readers with negative and misleading news. Interestingly, believing in such news or on the basis of their fake videos, a few of illustrious journalists have started criticising the most honored and devoted persons of the country. They aim to harm and undermine someone else’s esteem ,reputation or dedicated services by using personal attacks or overly harsh language rather than providing constructive suggestions for improvement.

Criticism on private life presenting videos or fake news with the intension to belittle or hurt the person is undesirable. No person is found flawless or above sins. He or she should be forgiven if it is forgivable events in their life . Critics should come up with concrete suggestions for further improvement instead of creating toxic environments.

It is already proven that adverse and unexpected criticism provoked the rival groups to demonstrate violent and destructive activities in front of Titumir College and Newspaper Offices. There are many evil designers who are ready to disturb the law and order in the society, so they shouldn't be encouraged to take the law in their own hands.

What is most crucial at this transitional time of Bangladesh is unity and consensus over its different issues . Interim government is very much engaged in reformatory activities.

It is in the cognizance of all that the past brutal regime has destroyed all sectors of the country, for obvious reasons, reforms are imperative , that are under way in order to navigate the country into the right direction.

Conclusively, we discourage yellow journalism and negative narratives ,and suggest that one should not focus on private life, personal traits and characteristics of the sincerely dedicated and honest people of the country. In a word, criticism that significantly damage one's self-esteem and motivation to deliver better performances and brings forth confusion and misunderstanding among the people should be shunned forthwith.
