Korea Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo begins tomorrow

DHAKA -Korea Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championship  begins tomorrow (Friday) at Gulshan-Badda Taekwondo Club in the city’s Uttar Badda.

Organised by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation, by the initiative of Korean Embassy to Dhaka, the two-day championship will be held on a virtual platform (through zoom app).

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Murad Hasan MP, is expected to virtually inaugurate the meet as the chief guest at 11 am while Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-Keun is expected to join in the inauguration ceremony as the special guest virtually.    

Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque is expected to present virtually in the closing ceremony of the competition on Saturday (Aug 28) while  Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-Keun will be there as the special guest from virtual platform.

About 350 taekwondo players from different districts, associations, universities, colleges, schools, clubs and corporations  will virtually compete in the meet.BSS
