Bangladesh to play two bronze-deciding matches Sunday

Dhaka, 22 Dec -Bangladesh archery team will play two bronze–deciding matches on Dec 25 of the Asia Cup World ranking tournament stage-3 now being held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Bangladesh archery team  will face Kazakhstan in the recurve men’s team event bronze-deciding match after Bangladesh archery team featuring Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel, Mishad Prodhan and Sagor Islam failed to reach final of this event after losing to their Indian rivals by 3-5 sets in the semifinal held Thursday.

While Bangladesh will also play another bronze-deciding match against Uzbekistan in the recurve mixed team event after the Bangladesh archery team comprising Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel and Famida Sultana Nisho lost to their Indian rivals by 3-5 sets in the semifinal also held today.   

The Bangladesh archery team is participating in the following nine out of ten events.

The events are recurve men's single event, recurve women's single event, recurve men's team event, recurve mixed team event, compound men's single event, compound women's single event, compound men's team event, compound women's team event and compound mixed team event.
