Washu team to be accorded reception Saturday

Dhaka, 2 May  - The Bangladesh Washu Federation will accord a warm reception to its players on Saturday (May 4) for their impressive performance in the recently concluded 'International Invitational Wushu Tournament that held on April 21-26 in Jiangsu city of China.

Bangladesh won six medals (two silver and four bronze medals) in seven categories in the tournament, organized by International Washu Federation.  

Bangladesh finished fifteenth position in the International Invitational Wushu Tournament after winning six medals after beating 21 out of 36 countries. As a result Bangladesh Washu team have qualified to participate in the qualification round of the upcoming 10th Sanda World Cup Championship which will be from November 11-24 in Melbourne, Australia.
