National Junior Chess championship begins Tuesday

Dhaka, 13 Feb  - The 40th National Junior (Under-20) Chess Championships Open and Girls begins Tuesday (Feb 15) at the chess federation hall-room of the National Sports Council old building in the city, said a press release.

Only those who were born after January 1, 2002, will be allowed to participate in this event, organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation.

The intending players in participating are asked to enroll their names from their respective educational institutions along with age certificate and prescribed entry fee.

The competition will be played in nine round Swiss-league system.
