Marathon run competition held in Madaripur
Madaripur, 29 Nov - Marathon run competition was held in Madaripur district with 250 competitors of different age groups from 64 districts across the country on Friday.
Madaripur Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Akter inaugurated the marathon run competition as the chief guest at Madaripur integrated government office building premise.
Organized by KKMRC, the 21 km marathon race started at 5:40 am followed by 10 km race from the same venue at 6 am. The first, second and third place finishers in the race were given cash reward along with prizes.
Madaripur Deputy Commissioner Yasimon Akter, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tanya Akter, Additional Police Superintendent Bhaskar Saha and Niramoy Hospital Management Director Dr. Abul Fazal Leylin, were among others, present in the prize distribution ceremony.
