Reshuffle in Police admin: 50 SPs get new postings

Dhaka, Aug 4 – In the biggest shake-up of police administration in a decade, as many as 50 superintendents of police have sent to new postings, an official said on Thursday. 

The senior official at Police headquarters said that the 25 SPs  have recently been transferred becuase of their promotion as additional deputy inspectors general.

Another 25 SPs have also been transferred to different districts, he said.

He said this has been done as part a regular reshuffle.

Police Section-1 of the Public Security Division under the home ministry issued two separate notifications in this regard on Wednesday. - UNB
