A farmer named Badsha Mia alias Basu, 65, was killed as a pickup-van hit him in Begamganj of Noakhali .



A farmer named Badsha Mia alias Basu, 65, was killed as a pickup-van hit him in Begamganj of Noakhali on Tuesday night. 

The accident took place around 11.30pm in front of Power House of the upazila’s Sonaimuri-Laksham road.

The deceased was the son of Kala Mia at Narottorpur union of the upazila.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chandraganj Highway Thana Mridul Kanti Kuri said after the accident the pickup-van managed to flee the spot.
