Student’s death in accident: Microbus driver arrested
Police has arrested the driver of the microbus that hit and killed Ali Hossain, a class ten student of Tejgaon Govt Science School and College.
Police has arrested the driver of the microbus that hit Ali Hossain, a class ten student of Tejgaon Govt Science School and College, in BG Press area on Sunday morning, leaving him dead on the spot.
The arrestee is Ziaul Haque.
Tejgaon zone’s Deputy Police Commissioner HM Azizul Haque said Ziaul Haque was arrested from Bishmail area of Ashulia on Monday morning.
Police will hold a press briefing in this regard this afternoon.
Meanwhile, students of Tejgaon Govt Science School and College blocked the Farmgate road on Monday noon, demanding justice for their fellow student.
They took the street around 11.00am and demonstrated braving the rain that created a heavy traffic jam in the area.
Ali Hossain, a class ten student of Tejgaon Govt Science School and College, died after being hit by a microbus in BG Press area of Tejgaon Industrial zone on Sunday morning.
