Police have recovered the hanging body of a housewife from her home at Dangapara village in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi.

The deceased was identified as Bonnya Khatun, 35, second wife of Nizam Uddin from the same village.
The victim was alone at her home at night. In the morning, locals found the body hanging from a window and later informed police about the incident, said Suhrawardy Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Puthia police station.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
Legal action will be taken upon receiving report in this regard, the OC added.
