Over 41 policemen injured during clash with BNP protesters

 Over 41 police personnel were injured during clash between BNP activists and law enforcers in the city today, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s media cell.

Of them, 20 policemen received treatment at the Rajarbagh Police Hospital, while the rest were taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The DMP media cell said a police constable was attacked and killed by protesters in Fakirarpool area.  He was identified as Aminul Parvez, a constable of DMP's CTTC unit.   He hailed from Daulatpur upazila in Manikganj, said the media cell.

Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost, said doctors at DMCH declared him dead around 4:15pm when he was brought to the hospital with head injuries, reports BSS.
