Two cocktails explode at Farmgate

Unidentified miscreants exploded two cocktails in front of Babul Tower in Dhaka’s Farmgate on Saturday.

The incident took place at around 7pm.

No casualties were reported, Tejgaon police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Apoorba Hasan confirmed the matter. 

He said: "Panic spread after two cocktails exploded with a loud noise. However, there was no casualty.” 

The cocktail explosion took place a day before the 48-hour -- Sunday and Monday-- blockade called by the opposition BNP for the fourth time.
