Police-journo meet discuss Law and order in Pallabi Area

Dhaka Journalist Housing Society and Pallabi Police Station consultation meeting held on Sunday 09 Jan 2022

Members of the Dhaka Journalists Housing Society, Mirpur and Pallabi Police had a consultation meeting at the Journalists’ Residential Area auditorium on improvement of law and order.

Speaking at the meeting the Officer-in-Charge of Pallabi Thana Md Parvez Islam ppm requested the journalists living in the area to bring problems like drug addiction and other criminal activities to their knowledge and assured prompt action to resolve those.

Journalists who spoke at the meeting drew the attention of the Pallabi Police to problems like trespassing, drug addiction, gangstarism, indiscriminate use of loudspeakers and sought their help to protect the area from those.

Assistant Commissioner of Pallabi Zone Shah Kamal and Inspector (Operation) of Pallabi Thana Uday Kumar Mandal also spoke at the function with Abdul Awal Thakur, president of the society in the chair.

The meeting was also addressed by senior journalists Ziaul Huq, Akram Hossain Khan, Mostafa Kamal Majumder, Rafiqul Islam, Afzal Hossain Palash and secretary of the society Shahjahan Mozumder.
