30 arrested in police operation in Dhaka

Various crime and intelligence departments of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 30 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs in various areas of the capital.

At this time, drugs were seized from the arrested. Besides, 22 cases have been filed against the arrested in different police stations of DMP.

This information was informed by the media and public relations department of DMP on Friday (January 12) morning.

According to the DMP, as part of DMP's regular anti-narcotics operation, they were arrested by raiding various areas of the capital from 6 am on Thursday to 6 am today.

During the arrest, 620 pieces of yaba, 100 grams of heroin and 13 kg of ganja were seized from them.
