Former Chief Whip ASM Firoz Arrested

Former Jatiya Sangsad (parliament) Chief Whip ASM Firoz was apprehended by the police at his Banani residence on Friday night.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed the arrest but did not disclose the reasons behind it.
ASM Firoz, who represented the Patuakhali-2 constituency and served as the chief whip during the 10th parliament, has been a prominent figure in the Awami League.
Further details about the charges or the investigation are yet to be released.
