Abandoned foreign pistol with bullets recovered in Natore

Police suspected that someone left the pistol fearing of the imminent drive by joint t forces.



Natore, Sept 02 - Police recovered an abandoned foreign pistol with 11 rounds of bullets from Kalbala intersection in Natore Sadar upazila on Sunday night.

Sadar police station’s Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman said, locals spotted a Brazil-made pistol with two magazines in a pile of waste in the Kalbala intersection around 10pm.

Later, police recovered the pistol with 11 rounds of bullets from the spot, he added.

The police official suspected that someone left the pistol fearing of the imminent drive by the joint forces.-UNB
