Former Swechasebak League leader arrested in Dhaka

Swechasebak League leader Md Rony arrested from Turag area



Dhaka, Sept 26 - A former Swechasebak League leader was arrested from Turag area of the capital in a case filed with Hatirjheel Police Station.

The arrestee was identified as Md Rony, former vice-president of Turag unit Swechasebak League.

Tipped off, a joint team of police from Hatirjheel and Turag Police Stations conducted a drive in the area and arrested Rony on Wednesday night, said Jahangir Kabir, assistant commissioner (media) of DMP.

Police produced him before the court on Thursday.-UNB
