3 Additional IGPs sent on forced retirement

Three additional inspector generals of police (IGP) have been sent on forced retirement.


On Wednesday, separate notifications signed by Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Nasimul Gani, announced the retirement of these officers.

The officers are: Mallik Fakhrul Islam, Selim Md Jahangir, and Y.M. Belalur Rahman, reports UNB.

The notifications say that the retired officers will receive post-retirement benefits in accordance with regulations.
