On the fifth day of the nationwide crackdown, 'Operation Devil Hunt,' joint forces have apprehended an additional 566 individuals across the country, according to the latest statement from the police headquarters.

As of Thursday afternoon, the operation's total arrest count has reached 3,415, with 1,099 of those arrests linked to various criminal cases, authorities confirmed.

In addition to the arrests, the operation has led to the recovery of weapons, including two foreign-made pistols, two magazines, five rounds of ammunition, and two sharp weapons, underscoring the seriousness of the operation’s efforts.

Launched late Saturday night, the government’s nationwide security operation aims to address rising unrest and bolster public safety, with authorities vowing continued vigilance until the operation's objectives are fully achieved.
