Dhaka, April 11, 2025 — Bangladesh Police has officially finalized a new logo, set to replace the current one, officials announced.

The redesigned logo features the national flower, Shapla (water lily), resting on water, and is encircled by wheat and paddy wreaths. Three jute leaves are positioned at the top, symbolizing the country’s heritage. The word "Police" will appear in Bengali below the joint of the paddy and wheat wreath.

An order to implement the new logo was issued on Thursday by the Police Headquarters, signed by Additional Deputy Inspector General (Logistics) Nasima Akhter.

The Police Headquarters has directed all relevant units to begin preparing the updated monogram for use on flags, signboards, uniforms, and other official items.

The order also confirmed that the new logo has received approval from the appropriate authorities and is now awaiting the formal issuance of a gazette notification.

This change is part of an ongoing effort to update the emblem of Bangladesh Police.
