Razakars List to be published in March 2024: Mozammel

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq, MP, today said the list of Razakars, who were involved in killing, arson and other criminal activities against humanity during the war of liberation, will be published within March next year.

"Policy has been formulated and necessary works are being implemented... It will be possible to publish the list by March 2024," he added.

The Liberation War Affairs Minister came up with the observation while talking to journalists after inaugurating Muktijoddha Complex in Bagmara Upazila of the district as chief guest.

Regarding BNP's road march across the country, the minister said there is no instance of toppling a government through road march.

Mozammel Huq also held a view-exchange meeting with the valiant Freedom Fighters at Bhabaniganj New Market auditorium. Speaking at the meeting the minister said all valiant freedom fighters are being given free medical services in all government hospitals of the country.

He said the allowances of the freedom fighters are being sent directly to their accounts through mobile from Bangladesh Bank. The government is also bearing all auxiliary surcharges in this regard, he added.

Mozammel Haque said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has handed over houses to valiant freedom fighters, who are financially marginalized. The houses are being given away to freedom fighters as gifts from the Prime Minister, on the occasion of Mujib Borsho and 50 years of Bangladesh's independence.

Engineer Enamul Haque, MP, and Prof Monsur Rahman, MP, also spoke on the occasion, reports BSS.
