Syed Nasir wants Awami League ticket for Patuakhali-4 seat

Patuakhali: Awami League's candidate for the 12th National Assembly election, Syed Nasir Uddin, said, 'I will make Patuakhali-4 (Kalapara-Rangabali) a modern smart and information technology based parliamentary constituency after getting elected as MP. I will work for the development of the coastal education system.'

Syed Nasir also said, 'I will take steps so that local government representatives can work independently. We will take steps to stop the Shalis trade including fence occupation, char occupation, land occupation, sluicegates so that farmers can use them conveniently.'

Patuakhali District Awami League Vice-President Principal Syed Nasir Uddin announced his candidacy in anticipation of Awami League's nomination by holding a press conference at Engineer Tauhidur Rahman (CIP) auditorium of Kalapara Press Club of Patuakhali at 11 o'clock today. Syed Nasir Uddin received his higher education from the Public Administration Department of Dhaka University. He served as the Vice-President of Bangladesh Chhatra League (HA-A) Central Committee in 1988 and President of Zahurul Haque Hall Branch in 1984-1988.

Syed Nasir Uddin in a written statement, highlighting the details of his past political activities, said, 'I got involved in the politics of Chhatra League in 1970. After the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15, 1975, Dhaka University was closed.
