Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, released on Monday



Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman was released on Monday, March 11, after 15 months of imprisonment. 

He was arrested on December 12, 2022 from his home in the capital Dhaka. The tyrannical government tortured him by keeping him in prison for 15 months on a false case, according to a Jamaat source on X (formerly twitter).
