Acting President of Bangladesh Muslim League, Adv. Md. Mohsin Rashid and Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair, have expressed concern and deep condemnation over the attack on Senior Vice President of the People's Rights Council and party spokesperson, Farooq Hasan.

Today (January 5, 2024) at noon, a delegation of Bangladesh Muslim League led by acting party President Adv. Md. Mohsin Rashid arrived at BSMMU to inquire about the physical condition of the injured young emerging political leader, Mr. Farooq Hasan.

Strongly condemning the incident, Mr. Md. Mohsin Rashid said, the attack on Mr. Farooq Hasan is a bad sign for democracy. It is the work of those who want to obstruct democracy. The fallen fascist Hasina had created the grave of democracy by taking away the freedom of speech of the people, the shadow of Baksal is also visible in this attack.

We firmly believe that the interim government will clarify its position by arresting and punishing those involved in this incident without delay. The leaders stayed at Mr. Farooq's bedside for some time and prayed for his speedy recovery. – Press release
